Fairbank, Arizona

Home

Fairbank, Arizona, like its sister town of Charleston was another mining town that only existed for a few decades at the turn of the 20th Century. Like the other mining towns around Tombstone, it also died a quiet death once the silver mines nearby dried up. Perhaps the most melancholy part of the town is its cemetary, atop a small hill, consisting of about two dozen grave sites, largely forgotten except for the occasional hikers.
